OKAY TOY
My shrek did talk and it did talk in the wise crack and the normal mode. It does interact with what you say to it. It comes with a card and whatever phrase off of that card you say, he responds. My son enjoys it alot.

disappointed
What a disappointment. The Shrek doll that is supposed to talk doesn't say a word. Not a very durable toy is an understatement. I can't tell you how the disappointment on a little girl's face hits your heart. I was going to buy the donkey also but wouldn't waste my money after buying the shrek.
