Grabs hold of you and doesn't let go until the very end, April 6, 2009
This review is from: Shreya Chopra (Paperback)
I read this book on a recent trip from DC to LA (about a four hour plane ride). Shreya is a typical college student, stuck taking classes during her summer break. One day, while she's studying at her university, she sees a break-in and the story takes off from there. Within the next three days she is forced to use her wits and guts to keep herself out of danger, which seems to have a way of finding her in the most uncomfortable places. I related to a lot of what Shreya was going through personally, as far as the struggles of ending a long-term relationship and her whole family situation. Shreya Chopra has mystery, romance, thrills, suspense, and so many twists and turns! There must have been about half a dozen moments where the story revealed another plot twist and the characters where thrown for a loop. I was halfway through when I realized that what I thought was going on really wasn't what was actually going on. Unfortunately it was at this time that my plane was landing and I was forced to put it down. I hurried to my hotel room and finished it in one sitting, it was THAT good!

A book you won't be able to put down -- a MUST READ!, March 12, 2009
This review is from: Shreya Chopra (Paperback)
I'm not a big fan of mystery/thriller novels, but I decided to give the genre another try. Reading the synopsis on the back definitely got my attention. Once I began reading, I couldn't let it go! I thought I'd be able to figure the whole story out within the first few chapters but boy was I wrong! The novel is filled with so much suspense and action it kept me wanting more! "Shreya Chopra" had moments where I'd get goose bumps, laugh out loud, to tears strolling down my face. Definitely a well-rounded novel and a quick read you definitely won't regret!
