One of the most important compliations of information of the past ten years.,

This report is invaluable. Maria Shriver together with the Center for American Progress have worked to compile some of the most recent and compelling statistics on women in the labor force that I've have ever seen published. I *highly* recommend this for students of any social science field, particularly those in public policy, gender, or basic sociology. But this book is also useful for anyone interested in Gender or Labor studies. Statistics are presented quickly and neatly for easy scanning and essays accompany each chapter to help illustrate the American narrative.
