I bought this item not expecting too much and I wasn't disappointed. It works...sort of. It does indeed shuffle up to six decks of cards and does a good job at the shuffle part. But at least 25% of the time it makes a little mess doing so. Some cards actually fly out backwards out of the shuffler instead of into the mixing hopper. Not a lot, but a few. A few cards that go into the hopper wind up flat against the walls of the chute instead of neatly in a pile. That said, it's not too much trouble to just shove the few cards that go astray into the shuffled deck. This gadget does a better job of shuffling than I could and does it faster too. The six decks of Bicycle cards are of excellent quality. The only shufflers better than this one are the "Pro" shufflers and they start at around $500, refurbished. You can see what you'll be buying already, can't you? :)

I read so many reviews where the item arrived broken. I ordered three. Great packaging, all are working. I bought the batteries and our group is ready to play Hand and Foot. The 6 packages of cards with free shipping made this the best buy on Amazon. We will probably need to order one or two more.

This is a "must have" item for anyone who plays hand and foot! It works much better than shuffling all 6 decks by hand. We have found that you really do need to use good quality decks, like Bicycle, or you will have problems with card jams. This really extends the life of the decks though. We have been using the same 6 decks of Bicycle cards that came with it for 6 months now and we play 4-8 games per week.

When I received the first shuffler, the plastic insert was cracked. The replacement shuffler worked fine for about two months. Now it will only shuffle half the amount of cards at one time. If you put the full amount of cards on the left side of the shuffler, it will not shuffle the cards. Very dissapointing.

This 6 deck shuffler works better than any of the 2 deck shufflers I've used that cost twice as much. It's a great product, and it was shipped in a timely fashion.

One side does not work at all. C Batteries installed correctly. The product does not work. I got it for my grandchildren for Christmas. Needs to be returned. Would not recommend.

I got this for my Mom, she loves it. Her last one only did 3 decks and as a Canasta fan she loves it. My Dad thinks it's too noisy but I haven't heard of a quieter one yet.

Hi, we sure do like the card shuffler very much. Especially when we are using five or six decks for hand and foot double pinochle card game. One deck is required for each player depending on different games. It's a joy to have.

Used it for about 3 weeks and it stopped shuffling 6 decks. I can still shuffle around 3 decks, but I would prefer it's advertised 6 decks.

This 6 deck shuffler was defective when received. One side of the device worked while the other side did not. Amazon credited my credit card for the price of the shuffler but was not able to simply replace it with a like model.
