My first Shun knife! Bought from a deal about $40
It's sharp and easy to handle. I use it to deal with meat, saving a lot of time and troubles. I'll recommend it.

Great knife, very sharp, very long! It looks very good and we got it at a special deal price, so it was a great buy. I already have 2 Henkels cook knifes and they feel a lot heavier and more solid (thicker steel). This one feels light. I am not sure if I'd like it as much for full price (>$100). Also, if you are looking for the first real good knife in your kitchen, probably not the best starter. But as an addition for a good price definitely an attraction for display and great to use. You just need to get used to the length.
