Bought this set for my 10-year old girl and she can't stop playing with it. The artwork is beautiful & unique. She started getting curious about the designs and now keeps asking me to help her research Chinese architecture online. This is definitely recommended for anyone who has children who love to learn.

I've been debating about buying these sets of blocks for my girls for a while. Finally I decided to order this set and I cannot be happier! The whole family is involved; the blocks have great quality and are highly educational. The set comes with a book that is a little treasure! The illustrations are kids friendly and contain building ideas. You can go to the online page and register your blocks, building online is really fun too. I like the whole concept, I think this product is superb.

I bought a set of these blocks about a year ago. They were wonderful at first and very fun to build with. My 2 1/2 yr old daughter loves them and so too does my 7 yr old neice, and many adults as well. The BIG problem with them....(and I might add that given the cost of these blocks it is a BIG problem) ...is that after only a year... all the decals have begun to raise and peel off of the blocks. This IS NOT due to excessive play, but a true defect in the manufacture of the product. It makes them a little difficult to play with because the bubbling decals make it difficult to "seat" the blocks with one another. YET, despite this defect they are worth buying IF you DO NOT consider them a long term toy. The manufacturers would have done better by painting the blocks with the images instead of trying to polyurethane decals in place. Polyurethane is great stuff, but it is not a catch-all glue.
