My Shure SE110's have been phenomenal in durability and sound quality. Sadly, they disappeared (probably the wife) so I found myself having to find a replacement. After reading the reviews of the Klipsch S4, I was sold (bonus that they were half the price of my Shure...). My only regret was the preference to the Shure foam sleeves as an, almost complete, noise isolation device.

After trying all the various silicone sleeves supplied with the S4's; I was not happy with their fit or noise isolation. I was so happy to discover that these foam sleeves fit perfectly on my new earbuds. Happy ears once again!

Hopefully I can hide these better from the wife before she decides to replace her "borrowed" Shures...

I have Shure SE-210's. They're not the top of the line, but their not Apple ear buds either. These things though make them sound awesome. And even better, I can't hear anything else with them on. So if you have Shure's, with small ears, these are the things to shove in your ears.

After Comply failed to honor a St. Patricks day promotion, I decided to check out the Shure Olives and came away a convert.

The Shure EABKF1 are a bit softer and so comfortable that I forget that they are on - can't say the same about the Comply. Plus, the Olives block out more sound and cost less. Last night, I was on the San Francisco BART subway, known for its incredibly loud screeching noise. As we were pulling up to my stop, I pull out my Olives and was overwhelmed by the deafening noise. So, I put them back in. This never happened with the Comply tips.

The only downside to the Olives is that they'll wear out faster than the Comply. But, since you get 5 pair of the Olives for $6 cheaper then 3 pair of the Comply, it's kind of a no-brainer which is a better value.

[Update Nov 5 2014]

It appears that the Olives actually last longer than Comply. Perhaps, because the foam is softer, it is less prone to breaking apart. Kudos!

Let me preface this review by giving you some background about my experience. I have been an Audio Engineer for 10+ years and a drummer for much longer. I have owned the Shure E3c in ears for over 5 years and they have never fit my ears with any of the sleeves that came with them because of my small ear holes. I was very disappointed at first when I could not use these in ears easily. After trying all of the sleeves for this model including the triple flange type with no luck I went ahead and had custom molds made for my ears. The molds that I got were great but it took way too much time to put them in and get wire properly situated behind my head. This left my favorite shure in ear monitors to sit on the shelf unless I was using them on stage during a show or in the booth at the studio. Anyway, I am always looking for alternative sleeves to try out and never had any luck until I found these, and now my search is FINALLY OVER! These foam sleeves are excellent and take no more then 30 seconds to have them in my ears comfortably listening to my ipod. Finally I can use my shure in ears wherever I go and never have them fall out. They also provide very good sound isolation from my surroundings, almost as much as the custom molds. I can finally put my white Apple ear buds away and listen to my music the way it is supposed to be heard. I plan on purchasing many more of these so I will never have to be without them. If you, like me, have had a hard time finding comfortable sleeves for your Shure in ear's look no further. These are the best on the market all around for; ease of use, quality, comfort and most of all, audio bliss. Buy these now, you will not regret it.

The tips that come wiht the Etymotic headset downright suck in my opinion. The Etymotic tips are very uncomfortable, have an insecure fit, and for reasons beyond my comprehension prevent the headset from really shining in the low end. The highs were almost too crisp and the low end clearly was lacking.

No longer! With these Shure tips on my Etymotic, I'm in auditory heaven. These Shure tips are incredibly comfortable. Installed, the high-end softens up a bit and the low end is finally where it should be.

***HACK***

The Etymotic headset tips do not have any grill obstructing the sound. The Shure's do. I assumed that this was why the high end softened up a bit. I tediously cut out the grill from the Shure tips and the high end was restored to the quality of the Etymotic tips.

I've had my Shure SE210 earphones so long and used them so much I think I forgot how comfortable they used to be. Basically the foam was collapsing and one side had disconnected from the frame. They were way overdue for a refresh, but I couldn't remember what size sleeve it was and didn't want to chance buying a whole pack when I'd forgotten the model number, too. If you're in that position, just look around on Amazon until you find reference photos. The look of the Shure sleeves are distinctive enough between the different sizes where you should be able to eyeball it. Google Images is your friend to rediscover your specific model.

These sleeves are not the same as the ones included with the headphones I bought, but they are comaptible and slip onto the earphone post with no issues. There is a plastic grill in these that should assist with keeping the earphone channels clear. Also convenient is this set includes a small cleaning tool with a wire loop to clear out any debris before placing the new sleeves on. Compared to the paperclip approach this is a much better option, and it is packaged in the cardboard insert in case you do not see it right away. The comfort level is definitely back and the noise canceling properties will improve signfiicantly after the replacement if you have had your earphones for a while. They fit and sound like new after the update.
