Does The Job,

This review is from: Shure Popper Stopper Pop Filter with Metal Gooseneck and Heavy Duty Microphone Stand Clamp (Electronics)
A pop screen isn't very exciting but it is a definite MUST for studio recording. The difference with and without one is night and day. I've owned several Shure Popper Stoppers over the years. SHOCKINGLY, I've "lost" two. They both disappeared at different productions studios in the Denver and Los Angeles areas. If you see my beloved Popper Stoppers, please return them to me, post haste.
Just a side note, ANY of the $15 and up pop screens from Nady, etc will do the EXACT same job. The difference in price has to do with the arm mechanism that holds the pop screen where you want it. If you buy cheaper, the arm is usually very flimsy and you end up constantly readjusting it. The screen itself is the same, nylon type, double mounted material on nearly ALL of them. Be sure and look at the diameter of the screen itself so you know it is large enough to block your mouth and nose.

Hard to be flowery about his product. It's durable. It's sturdy. It catches spit and allows you to get right on your microphone and get the most out of your voice. I hooked it onto a snowball microphone stem and it works well.

I had some problems with popping the mic with my voice, but this really did fit the bill. I have no complaints on this item.
