3rd best track off the album. 4.5 stars., December 2, 2007
This review is from: Shut Up & Drive (Audio CD)
And while we're on the album, let's get that instead of this expensive single.
The album showcases about 6 solid tracks (Umbrella, SU&D, Say It, Hate That I Love You Feat. Ne-Yo and Don't Stop The Music. Surely, I'm forgetting one.)
Nice beat, great guitar-driven pop song. And Rihanna has shined her brightest on this release. They will have to dig deep for her next release in 2008/2009. And you just KNOW it won't be any later than that, seeing as how they love to market the heck out of her!
Say It and Do It are superior. That's it.

Don't Even Drive, September 12, 2007
This review is from: Shut Up & Drive (Audio CD)
For a lot of young artists today, they just don't seem to have the credibilty of making quality music. Rihanna has been one those acts. Although she has the sex appeal lately, she just doesn't make really good songs. Her latest single, Shut Up & Drive, the second single from her album A Good Gone Bad, isn't really a driven song that sticks with you. I wasn't actually impressed with the way the song was made, and it just sounded something that Britney Spears would make. It has been a problem with her lately, because she hasn't found her way with buyers. She needs to find a song that isn't about the image, but the soul itself.
