ESTE DISCO, DEL CANTAUTOR GUATEMALTECO, ES SIMPLEMETE ADMIRABLE. LA OCURRENCIA DE LOS TEMAS,CAPTAR IMAGENES DE LA VIDA COTIDIANA DE PUNTOS DE VISTA OLVIDADOS. LA FORMA DE EXPRESAR SIN TAPUJOS LO QUE SIENTE, LA MANERA EN COMO VE EL MUNDO, ES ESPECTACULAR. LO BUENO DE ARJONA ES QUE CUANDO TERMINAS DE ESCUCHAR SUS CANCIONES SIEMPRE TE DEJA ALGO PARA REFLEXIONAR. LOS QUE HABLAN DE PLAGIO, DE SABINA, DE SERRAT, DE SILVIO, LO HARAN POR DESPECHO. COMO DICE ARJONA: "AQUI NO ES BUENO EL QUE AYUDA SINO EL QUE JODE........."

This album is a wonderful mixture of songs, primarily about love, life, and politics, with a tropical flare that is more prominent here than in any other of Arjona's albums. The songs have both a tendency towards realism and the creativity of the Central American culture. The songs will pull you in to Guatemala and Guatemalan outlooks on life with extremely intelligent lyrics. Every since I heard his album 'Historias,' I have been hooked on his music and styles. Of all of his albums to date, I would say that this is by far and away his absolute best! Try it--this album is worth it!

Solamente artistas como RICARDO ARJONA, Silvio Rodríguez, Lhasa de Sela y otros de suprema calidad pueden voltear el mundo. Arjona lo hace literalmente con este disco compacto, que también considero es lo mejor de su trabajo. Lo mejor de Arjona florece cuando la autocrítica toma el lugar del comentario social.

ARJONA ES EL CANTA-AUTOR DE MAS ALTA "REPUTACION" EN SU GENERO.ESCUCHARLO ES VIVIR. CADA CANCION ES UNA EXPERIENCIA NUEVA. SIMPLEMENTE ES LO MEJOR DE LO MEJOR, CLARO SIN "DANOS A TERCEROS".

Like in all of his CDs, Arjona makes smart, profound, tallented lyrics. He's definately one of th best sing-song writters of his time, you SHOULD get this, or any other of his cds, they're all perfect!!

hola yo pienso que ricardo es un cantante con mucho talento y la letra de sus canciones es muy buena ,la manera especial de componer muy diferente a otros estilos, es muy original y pega en todas partes del mundo que siga con los exitos y que siga componiendo canciones que expresan la realidad de la vida. hasta luego.

Arjona is a brilliant storyteller, and has deep lyrics, and catchy rythems. Some of the tunes are romantic ballads, some are more rock n roll, some are tropical. He is not shy to share his political views. He has a way with words which is unmatched in pop music today, I highly reccomend all of his recordings! Never mind the reviewers who bash him, they're just jealous.

Son muy pocos los que tienen la GRAN capacidad de ser cantantes, compositores y productores de sus propios albunes... aqui encontraran al MAS GRANDE en todos estos generos por no decirles el UNICO... ARJONA SOS UN MAESTRO!!!,hay que darle GRACIAS a Dios el tenerte y poder disfutarte en cada tema de tu autoria....... quienes te ADMIRAN Jo, Clau y Lo ....

While Arjona's music is very enjoyable, it is the lyrics which have caused me to find his songs thought-provoking for the three years I've had the tape. Few love songs in any language can equal the depth of feeling in "Tu", the healing power of "Tu reputacion" or the devastating sadness of "Te acuerdas de mi". If you're learning Spanish, use this CD to practice listening - you won't regret it, and you're likely to end up singing.
