I have been looking at similar designs of this cat tree for a long time. The reason why I didn't order one before is that I felt they took up too much space. When I saw the compactness of this design, I knew It was perfect for my house and the corner space I had available. It was shipped promptly in a well packaged carton. All of the parts were of high quality materials ,precicely cut ,and predrilled. The hardware and wrenches included are all you need to assemble the unit. The instruction sheet was not in English , but all of the parts had numbers on them and the assembly was very intuitive. It was easily assembled in less than twenty minutes. This unit is very stable and being that it fits perfectly into a corner , it has the added stability of resting nicely on the walls. My intention was to give my cats a place of their own so they would not be on the furniture where they were always in danger of someone sitting on them. I am delighted to report that this unit is a cat magnet. They were immediatly attracted to the higher vantage points provided by the tree , and I am completly satisfied. I would highly recommend this product.

Looks nicer in the photo. Had to glue two of the posts onto the black plastic bolt holders...looks like they barely glued them and they just fell out of the tubes. Top condo box had it's holes drilled on the wrong sides so we had to drill the box to the shelf to ensure it would stay in place. Walls on the boxes are flimsy. I have a feeling it's lifespan will be about 6 months at most. Disappointed, but I guess for less than $150 you can't expect much anymore.

I purchased this cat tree for my two cats who are about 8 months old. The tree was pretty easy to put together, it came in one big box. I didn't need any tools like a screwdriver or hammer to put it together. It had everything you need already in the box. The only reason why I gave it four stars and not five, was because the wood pieces under the carpet is not wood, it's like a particle board material. The carpet material is very soft, it's not plush or anything. The carpet was stapled or glued directly to the particle wood pieces. The tree is mainly made up of carpet there are a few areas like the the poles that do have rope on them for scratching. Since this cat tree is tall and skinny, I would suggest that it should be against a wall or put in a corner. Overall i'm happy with my purchase I think it was a good investment for my cats.
