Awesome album,

I recently bought the 23 song album with illustrated book by Wozniak, and love it. (Note the picture on Amazon is for an abbreviated album with less tracks). The style is much more 'chilled' than Manu's other albums, and the best way I can describe it is 'Manu unplugged' though I am not sure that does it justice. It is full of catchy beats and lyrics, and features awesome guitar with a light eclectic smattering of other instruments from Manu's fellow musicians that form Radio Bemba.

Superb,

A significant change in Manu Chao's music, but still, Manu Chao is always recognisable. Although I am not a French speaker, the music is just very original, sometimes very catchy and the use of the language very colourful. Happy to have it in my Manu collection, it was definitely worth the money !

Manu's Best,

This is Manu Chao's best album in my opinion. It is nearly impossible to find without paying $150.00. Thank goodness Manu has put this album on his website as a free download. This album is totally in French and, as one reviewer mentioned, is more chilled. A lot less "noise" going on compared to Manu's other albums (especially the live records).Although not an acoustic record, Manu is best when the songs are more subtle. This is that album. I looked for it for years (even in Barcelona!)and never found it. Get the free download. A must have. Brilliant.

Although I am a Manu Chao fan (and have been for many years), I think this CD is just amazing, as good as Radiolina I would say... Manu posted it on [...] and is free for download.... Ive just bought Baionarena today and will have a great time enjoying the DVD with live performaces. Manu rocks!.

On this album, Mnau Chao takes things down a notch, creating beautiful music albeit lighter and slower. It took a few listens to get into the rhythms and the flow but once I did, I found myself hooked on such catchy tunes like 'J'ai Besoin De La Lune' and 'Il Faut Manger.' Despite the album being all in French, Manu Chao succeeds again in making great music that transcends languages.

A normal collection of songs in Manu Chao's style, but not so different from what I expected. Surely it is an interesting work.
