Koehler (who has earned Best of Breed at a national speciality and the internationally famous Westminster Kennel Club), The Siberian Husky: Live The Adventure is a very highly recommended informational and instructional guide to everything anyone would want to know about the faithful and hardy Siberian Husky -- a canine best known for its tenacity in the sled harness, but which is also quite widespread as a beloved and popular personal and family canine companion. Black-and-white photographs nicely illustrate this detailed account focused upon caring for, breeding, and training these majestic and loyal animals.

As a longtime friend and admirer of Peggy Koehler, I am delighted that her book is written in a conversational style that breeders and pet owners alike can understand.
Peggy groomed us as pet owners back in the seventies, and we were fortunate enough, through her influence, to have been owned by many gorgeous and sweet Siberians. The clarity and straight-to-the-point text, mixed with dollops of humor is just like Peggy. The book is a tribute to the breed and to Peggy's memory.

Margaret Koehler was a wonderful person and a fantastic breeder of so many outstanding Siberian Husky's. This book depicts the "best of the best" about the breed. It's a shame that Peggy never got to see her book in print. If you can purchase a copy of this book, please do. You won't be disappointed!
