Skimmed over some parts, didn't hold my attention,
By Susie (Alabama, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Sicilian's Baby Bargain (Harlequin Presents, No. 2827 / The Leopardi Brothers) (Mass Market Paperback)
The Sicilian's Baby Bargain by Penny Jordan just didn't hold my attention so I ended up skimming through some of the parts. The Leopardi brothers have been looking for their late half-brother's child. Their late half-brother raped a girl who father him a child before he died. Falcon, the eldest Leopardi, takes it upon himself to search for this girl and child and place them under his protective care. He feels terrible about what happened to Annie and sets out to make things right by bringing her and her son home with him to live. Annie is grateful to Falcon because she was cleaning a hotel for a living and was also on the run from her lecherous step-brother. It seemed like there was no depth to the hero, and he just instantly fell in love with the heroine overnight. There wasn't enough build-up in their relationship. The blurb sounded good, but the story didn't deliver.
