Detailed, colourful, and user friendly.
I just received this map from Amazon and so have not used it incountry yet. This a wonderful map with detailed maps of Palermo, Agrigento, Catania, Siracusa, and more. It also shows roads, ferry routes, distances to/from major cities, and temperature ranges for various regions and Palermo. I just received this map from Amazon and so have not used it incountry yet. This a wonderful map with detailed maps of Palermo, Agrigento, Catania, Siracusa, and more. It also shows roads, ferry routes, distances to/from major cities, and temperature ranges for various regions and Palermo. One side of the fold-out map has the smaller detailed maps and the other side is an entire map of Sicily with its surrounging islands and a place name index.
I know that I will find this map exceptionally helpful in planning my trip (November 2005) and once I am in Sicily.
