One of the best Nu-Metal bands out there.,

This review is from: Sickness (Clean) (Audio CD)
Disturbed is awesome, one of the best Nu-Metal bands out there. David Draiman (did you know that he's originally Israeli?) is an awesome singer, one of the best of the genre. his voice can go from screams to whispers, whispers to scream, from slow to fast, fast to slow etc. I'll review each song: 1. Voices - Nice flow indeed, very catchy. makes you wanna start singing with David. (5/5). 2. The Game - Overrated in my opinion but still good. start with a nice electronic beat. (4/5) 3. Stupify - Hard to decide for me if this song is better than "Down With The Sickness" or less. awesome song, everything in this song is awesome: the beginning, the chorus, the end etc. (5/5) 4. Down With The Sickness - WOW! David sounds really really angry on this one... this song is freakin' awesome!!! it was the first song by Disturbed that I heard and I really really loved it. but still I can't decide if this song is better than "Stupify" or less better. (5/5) 5. Violence Fetish - Really good song, a catchy one. (5/5) 6. Fear - My favorite song on the album! awesome mysteriously intro, awesome screams by Davis, AMAZING chorus. too bad this song isn't a single :(. (5/5) 7. Numb - Underrated. I really like the intro. This song sounds kinda like a grunge song. Like "Stupify" and "D.W.T.S" it's hard for me to decide if this song is better than "Want". (4.5/5) 8. Want - Another good track, nothing really special about it. (4.5/5) 9. Conflict - A little bit repetitive but who cares?? this song is awesome! This is the longest song on the album by the way. (5/5) 10. Shout 2000 - Cool cover (originally by Tears For Fears). a catchy song with a nice chorus. (4.5/5) 11. Droppin' Plates - Another good song, with a mysteriously intro, David sounds pretty angry on this one too. (4.5/5) 12. Meaning Of Life - begins with a nice electronic beat, continues from there to a very good song. (5/5) Get this album if you're a nu-metal fan, because Disturbed is one of the best Nu-Metal bands out there. Goodluck with the 2nd album Disturbed.

Dudes, this is a must have. I remember I first heard Disturbed on the radio. I fell in love with Stupify. Its the best on the CD, by the way. This CD is a must have for people who like rock. People who like Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Staind, and stuff like that will love this.

All aspiring metalheads, listen up! Buying this CD is the perfect way to get started on a metal journey. Disturbed has a unique style filled with animal like grunts and one heckuva voice that goes from melodic and tranquil to in your face insane. The songs are all different and well done, but the songs "Stupify," "Violence Fetish," "Dropping Plates" and of course "Down with the Sickness" all stand out in my mind. Disturbed also uses electronic effects in their songs, but don't worry, it's far from techno. Even if you're not an aspiring metal head, still worth checking out. Also check out "Believe" by Disturbed too.

Now this CD is what I am talking about! I am very impressed by the way this CD was produced. This band is as melodic as they are heavy. They have found the right balance between the two sounds. Any fan of metal has to have this CD in their collection. This group is extremely talented in their music structure and writting capabilities.

I bought this CD a few weeks ago and was instantly hooked! I rarely like a whole CD; usually just a song or two. But I love this entire CD and play it everyday! They are very original and really rock! This is a MUST-HAVE for fans of alt. rock who are looking for something different. I already can't wait for another release!

this review might be a bit biased because disturbed is my fav. group. But, i think it is the best album there is so far in the world. This is my rating on each song: Voices: pretty good, but a bit monotonous 4 stars The Game: one of the better ones. good instrumental 5 stars Stupify: very good. in a way it tells a story 4 stars D.W.T.S.: positively the best song in the album 5 stars Violence Fetish: Not bad 4 stars Fear: Third best. that says it all 5 stars Numd: not as good as i had hoped: 3 stars Want: not good, not bad, but you get used to it 4 stars Conflict: one of the best 5 stars Shout2000: i automatically loved it 5 stars Droppin' Plates: you get bord from it but still excellent 5 stars Meaning of Life: Second Best 5 stars

I like Disturbed. "Believe" Disturbed! But not "Sickness" Disturbed. Because this album is a waste of "funds!" I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you want Disturbed, stay away from this and pick up the new album "Believe" because it is much much better!
