3.0 out of 5 stars Worth a read., November 24, 2008
This review is from: In Sickness and in Power: Illnesses in Heads of Government during the Last 100 Years (Hardcover)
This book got good reviews when published but they were not wholly earned. It is a poor read to start; a lot of small bits about a number of politicians but it gets better when it deals with other figures in greater detail. The linking of hubris (Thatcher, Blair) as an illness with Roosevelt's paralysis and Eisenhower's heart attacks is a bit thin.
