Not only includes all the information from the original "Civilization V Official Strategy Guide (Bradygames Official Strategy Guides)", but also includes information on all DLC content released prior to publishing. (I believe there has been 1 DLC released prior to October 2012 that is not included in the book.) It also contains information on all the Civs, scenarios, added and changed content from the Gods & Kings expansion.

There could be more information on specific applied strategy, but there is general information included for each Civ as well as each method of winning.

the book is great in all ways but one the natural wonders are not listed in the book but everything you need to know about anything else is.

If you've played Civ for any amount of time, you'll probably know most of the mechanics of the game. That, combined with the many online resources and the in-game Civilipedia, already provide you with a wealth of knowledge about the game.

This book just takes most of that knowledge and puts it in a nice, concise form that I can read in the toilet. Nothing really new, and certainly nothing ground-breaking. In fact, a lot of the information would probably be obsolete after a few patches and DLCs.
