Soccer Stars

The book "On the Sidelines", it is a really good books shows us a real story about seven girls who love to play soccer very much. Their names are Tess, Tameka, Nicole, Yasmine, Geena, Fiona and Lacey.

Tess is a natural athlete who always plays to win.

Tameka wears her hair in braids to look like her hero, Cobi Jones.

Nicole plays well, but not quite as well as she thinks she does.

Yasmine loves to compete-especially against her twin brother, Yago.

Geena is the oldest of seven kids and barely has time for soccer practice.

Fiona would be a fantastic player if only she didn't have asthma and allergies to every green growing thing under the sun.

Lacey is a good player---when she can keep her mind on the game and off boys.

Fiona is the dramatis personae in this story, she likes play soccer very much, she has asthma and allergies to every green growing thing under the sun, and this is a big problem for her to play soccer.

Halfway though the season, when her overprotective parents decide that playing soccer is just too risky for her health, the stars encourage their friend to stand up for herself. Little do they know that when Fiona shows up on the field again, it's without her parents' permission?

After Fiona played soccer, she is now in big trouble, and it looks as if she'll never play soccer again. The stars won't be the same without Fiona.

Her friends spend a lot of time thinking how it can help Fiona to return to her team, but if she return to her team it is bad for her hearth, so it is a big problem.

One of her friends find out a good idea she asked to play soccer game on the computer, it is good for Fiona's health and Fiona still can play her favor soccer game without get out of the house.

Fiona's friends help her a lot, after that her mother permission she can return to her team. That is a good ending.

This is a good book shows us a great friendship and a strong will girl---Fiona.
