I USE THESE SHOES FOR RIDING BOTH MY MONGOOSE G3 AND GIANT TO WORK IN ALL TYPES OF WEATHER IN THE BAY AREA. I USE EGG BEATER PEDALS ON BOTH BIKES WITH EGG BEATER CLIPS WITH NO PROBLEMS. MY FEET STAY DRY AND WARM DAY AND NIGHT. A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT WORTH IT IF YOU RIDE ALL YEAR ROUND.
