A modern woman's take on a classic fairytale,
By "amy_lynn31" (Valenica, Ca) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sidney Rella and the Glass Sneaker (Paperback)
Sidney Rella And The Glass Sneaker, is a fairytale that a 21st century mother would not mind retelling to her children. This is a fractored fairytale. This fairytale's moral is that beauty is only skin deep. There is an attractive princess and a plain girl. The attractive princess becomes less desirable as the story progresses and her "ugliness" shows through. Contrasted to the plain Jane whose true inner beauty is relived through the plot of the story. It a great twist to a classic tale. This fairytale is a breathe of fresh air to the happily, beautiful ever afters.
