These songs sung in German are some of Nana's most beautiful pieces of music that she has recorded. The music is universal and one need not have to understand german to appreciate her gift. My wife is latino and knows no german, but listens to these songs as much as I do.

The selected songs are some of the most beloved songs a German can listen to and carry on the tradition of music and words that instill the heart with love and compassion.

Sieben Schwarze Rosen is an audio CD title as well as one of the most beautiful songs performed by Nana in German. The remaining 11 tracks are also very good.

My first exposure to Nana was back in the '70's when 'Roses & Sunshine' came out on tape. This album is one more example of her talent and versatility as an artist. The only problem I have is I let my neighbor borrow it and I'm having a deuce of a time getting it back!

Technically, her multi-linguistic ability is a joy to hear, even in German!
