The End of an Unremarkable Series.,
By Dan Shaffer (Leesburg, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Siege of Candlebane Hall (Paperback)
Elundium is in trouble. Snatchpurse and his followers, now fully gripped by the evil power of the dark, shadowy Eretch, are overrunning the kingdom. King Thane is siege-locked in Candlebane Hall, held at the mercy of the Company of Murderers, and Stumble Hill has fallen beneath Snatchpurse's relentless advance, with Kyot, Eventien and Elionbel fleeing to find a new haven. But there is hope. Nevian, Master of Magic, and his young apprentice, Drub, have now amassed an army which has joined their humble traveling circus, The Kindred Spirit. They are heading towards the Granite City where the stage will be set for the final battle against the evil Company of Murderers who they must defeat, once and for all. Overall, the book is pretty boring and lacks the excitement or revelations that I was hoping for in the final book of the series. This is the 6th and final book in the Loremasters of Elundium Series. I got this book from a bookstore in Scotland, bc the book was never published in the United States. |
