I must agree with manuel here Jay perez has shown that he's the best. This new album contains great songs like " No querio estar solo"and "Always and Forever"

Being a Jay Perez Fan since the "Latin Breed" days, I might be a little biased when it comes to this review....deal with it! It took the "Ritmo Latino" cd store in San Diego 10 days to aquire the cd since the release on the 25th of May. Once you hear the first song, you know that Jay is experimenting with a new format on his cd....he usually starts out with a Very Strong Tejano Jam like "Dame tu Corazon" on the "Toda Mi Vida" CD...This time around he opens the cd with a conjunto flavored hit..."Fuiste Muy Mala"...about half of the songs are tejano flavored while the other half clearly showcase Jay's versatility when it comes to his voice and feel for songs....and even remakes the classic slow jam "Always and Forever" and makes it all his own. Twelve cuts on the cd and a strong showing for the "People's Champion of Tejano Music". Jay sings of love, lost love and more love so if you listen to the words of each song, you will definitely find a song that fits in with your love life. All in all a very good cd, danceable and fun to listen to. On a more personal note, I have purchased each and every cd that he has put out and I have yet to be disappointed.....the only time was at the Tejano Music Awards when he was clearly going to win for "The Voice" cd and lost outright due to politics and bs....and the only other disappointment I have is that he rarely ever tours outside of Texas....ALOT of people love the tejano sound and would like to hear and see him on tour...so Jay, if you are reading this, always remember that you do have fans outside of Texas that love your Music and would love it even more if you would tour outside of Texas. And finally, even if you don't make it outside of the great state of Texas, you will always have one fan, me, who will be listening....."Toda MI Vida"

This one is Jay's best so far! All the songs are good, so you won't have to skip all over to find a good song. He has the best voice in Tejano music and this cd proves that! I love #'s 2, 3, 5...well, all of them!--but # 10 is my fav. I think everybody should go get this CD!
