One would expect good things from a CD whose title track is "Siempre en Mi Mente," Juan Gabriel's most beautiful song ever. And Gabriel delivers. He maintains the sentimental tone with "Extrano Tus Ojos" and "Lagrimas Tristes," but picks up the tempo with "Maria Jose," which many years later would become a sophisticated backdrop to the main dance feature in the "Celebrando 25 Anos: Juan Gabriel en el Palacio de Bellas Artes" CD and video. The enduring "Denme un Ride" is on this CD as well as "Adios," and its curious sound effects. This is one of Gabriel's better 70s era CDs and a worthy purchase.
