I purchase this Sierra Club calendar every year. It has a beautiful picture for each week of the year. It's a nice size which makes it easy to carry to work or to meetings.

I decided to get this calendar to keep track of major appointments. I have always loved the pictures from the sierra club so this fits my needs perfectly. On one page are the photos for each week which are amazing and in great color detail. The other side has the week and there is adequate spacing to note down major appointments. If you need more space or like to see your daily schedule broken up by hour this is not the book for you.

These engagement calendars are the best quality, with photos by established masters of the genre. I've gotten one for the last 30 years, and they are the greatest little calendars for notes and to write in your peaks and hikes. They are started each week with Monday, so you can see what appointments or activities you have written down for that workweek.

There are many others, but I find these the classics. It supports a great cause, and although I have had my differences with the Club, mostly they do a fine job in selling pristine nature and why to keep it that way. The best price has been at Amazon, and I've been getting them this way for years, now. Many local bookstores don't carry them, as I suppose so many people dislike the way some of their chapters have gotten, or their locally petty politics have done ill for fun and the planet. But aside from extreme views and then more moderate officers, it's a big club. You don't get any member discount here, but that's peanuts, for the high quality of the printing.
