My 2013 Sierra Club calendar arrived today neatly boxed so that it wasn't bent at all during shipment. I like several things about it: 1) I LOVE the photography. The January picture of Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls is so dramatic and really beautifies my kitchen! 2) the pages are really THICK and I like that becasue some other calendars I've bought in the past have paper thats magazine type of paper (LAME)! and 3) I really like the format, its wire spiral bound and that allows it to lay flat on my wall. Thank You Sierra Club for the amazing QUALITY and Thank you to Amazon.com for your amazing service and selection!

As a big photography fan, I love calendars which inspire great shots. For the past few years I've enjoyed monthly Ansel Adams creations on my office walls, and I've loved their quality and format. This year, I wanted something fresh but wanted to avoid the standard 12inch square formats on offer. After spending quite a lot of time searching, I came across this calendar on Amazon. When it arrived, I was delighted to find that the photos range across stunning American scenes. I would have probably preferred a slightly more adventurous aspect ratio, but this is a calendar I will enjoy all year.

I love outdoor photos, especially nature landscapes.
The Sierra Club Wilderness Calendar was my very first landscape calendar.
However, several years has passed since then.
It is not as artistically done as the Audubon Nature Calendar.
It does provide good, colorful representations of wilderness sites.
Support the Sierra Club, buy it!
It has US holidays only, but it does include phases of the moon.

I buy one of these every year, and am always impressed by the high quality of the photography and of the paper on which the calendar is printed. And at least some of the proceeds go to support the Sierra Club, so that's a good thing. Amazon always has good prices on this calendar, although its price will go down--by at least half--at many retailers after Christmas. But it makes a good Christmas or Hanukah present.

This is year's is probably my 25th Sierra Club Wilderness Calendar. I've had one in my kitchen, in different houses, for all these years. The stock is sturdy and I love the beautiful pictures of natural places throughout the seasons. The date spaces are large enough for all my appointments to be listed. I've kept each calendar and they are a record of my and my children's lives.

I really enjoyed having this calendar on my kitchen wall in 2013. It's nicely sized and had beautiful inspiring national park type photos that I had no problem looking at for 30 days before switching to the next month. It's sturdy. Plus the pages hang way even during humid summertime weather when other calendars "warp" and the pages fold inward.

I absolutely LOVE the Sierra Club's calendars. Their selection of natural sites to photograph is always fantastic, and the photos themselves are beautifully done. Also, the quality of the paper, binding, etc... makes for a very nice addition. I keep mine at the office to add a little color to a rather dull space and it definitely does the trick.

I've been buying the Sierra Wilderness Calendar for about 15 years. It never disappoints. The photographs are stunning! They are an inspiration of the natural beauty of God's creation that surrrounds us. On the practical side, the squares for the dates provide plenty of room to write important reminders, birthdays, appointments, etc.

I like this calendar! It's spiral bound, so it lays flat against the wall. It is a bit longer than most wall calendars, but it still fit in the section where I always hang my calendars. Plenty of room to write daily appointments and reminders, and the pictures are great. I like that they tell you where the pictures were taken!

Lovely, incredible photography. It just keeps getting better every year. I'm looking at February 2013 right now and it is a brilliant depiction of waves crashing on the Na Pali coast at glorious sunset--an elemental fabric of air (light),fire (sun), water (ocean), and earth (the cliffs) bursting with energy.
