I can't believe no one has reviewed this very excellent book on "The Middle Atlantic Coast". I've read and reread and learned so much about the area I've lived most of my life. Perhaps it's the title "Natualist's Guide". Before I read this book I wanted to be (a Naturalist) and upon finishing it I found I was on my way. The Sierra Club guidebooks are extremely informative and this one in particular is a great buy.

This is an excellent book. The information in it is as helpful as when it was first written. Bill Perry is an expert in wildlife. He worked with Ansel Adams, helped to set up the Rock Creek Nature Center in DC which was used as a model for other nature centers around the country, and he helped plan many parks around the country.
