5.0 out of 5 stars Colorful, involving game September 14, 2006
By Olga
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I first played this game a while ago, when it first came out. At that time, I was pretty impressed with the graphics -- the ocean water moving at the pier, the seagulls flying overhead, and the various moving machinery and characters were cool. Except for a few places, the game is pretty linear, you go along solving puzzles on one predetermined path. The game is a 1st person RPG, and mostly it's silent travel through the world (there are not many characters to talk to.) The puzzles aren't too difficult, but are involving, so you have to use your brain. There is one timed sequence that used to get me on the edge of my seat as a kid -- in that spot an enemy is trying to break into the room and it is important for you to make the right choice quickly.

I would definitely recommend this game. I still remember it after all this time. It's colorful, richly designed and addictive. It's about an alternate universe that the main character has to travel to in an effort to rescue a scientist and his daughter. Now that I think about it, I'll play it again :).

4.0 out of 5 stars Will Run On Newer Systems December 1, 2012
Wanted to let people know this will run on newer machines using Vista or Win7, even 64-bit, I'm playing it on Win7 64-bit Home Premium. Several ways to do it. Either with DosBox or download a windows installer that is available on-line. It runs much better if you create iso images from the discs then use a virtual CD program like Daemon Tools Lite to mount the images.
Hope this is helpful to those who may be considering buying this game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite of all time! June 29, 2012

Bought this game a couple different times, but as windows evolved this would not work on newer versions of windows. A shame because the game is a blast!
