i love the access to my canon 50D with this case: the zippered top flap opens toward me when worn slung on my torso or waist. lots of pockets for spare batteries and filters. i could get lens cases that strap on to the sides of this case, but i'll wait until i have two extra lenses to balance the load. the body of the case is plenty deep enough to accommodate the telephoto lens attached to the body. has a build in rain cover, tho the durable fabric of the case is also water resistant. only issue i've had is that the metal bracket on top of the camera (for the ancillary flash attachment) has torn the mesh fabric pocket that lines the zippered top flap. pocket still works, just looks a little frayed. sets up an extra step of requiring attention to avoid getting it hooked each time i unload the camera. no big deal. overall i like it, works well, and has enough variability in strap arrangements that i can wear it for a variety of activities.
