Wireless LED lights need improvements,

This review is from: Sierra Tools JB5571 Ceiling/Wall Light with Remote (Tools & Home Improvement)
These ceiling/wall lights are a bit larger than I expected for the number of LEDs they have. They give out good light as would be expected from LEDs. The housing takes up much of the size of the lights. The reason I purchased these lights was to provide lighting on my sailboat, which would save the sailboat's "house battery bank," which brings up my biggest dissapointment. Size may not be important for some. That said, I wanted to have one light in the Captain's stateroom, one light in the crews stateroom, and one light in the main salon Head (bathroom). Turns out that pushing any remote on/off switch controls "all" the lights that are present on the sailboat even if they are more than 30' from each other. So, if someone uses the head at night, it turns on the lights in each of the staterooms as well. There should be some way, aside from uninstalling batteries, to disable lights you don't want to turn on at times. So, I'm relegated to just using one of these lights on my sailboat, bummer.
I suppose this challenge would be the same in a home with lights in different rooms, if those rooms are close together, such as a hall closet and a closet in a guest room. They both turn on with either on/off switch. So, if a guest is sleeping, with her closet door open, that light will shine in her face when someone else turns on the hall closet light. Bummer. Perhaps one upside is that you can place the remotes in different locations and control the light(s) at, say, entrances and exits, I suppose. Other than these issues, the lights give out good light, however, I'm not sure how long the batteries will last. In the final analysis, if you are just buying one light, or can keep them out of range of each other's remotes, than this would get 4 stars from me, as the size, due to the housing, is quite large. It would be great if there was some way to isolate the lights on the remote control switch. That would override my need for smaller lights and I would give 5 stars. Thanks, Captain Tony

Light is a stretch!,

To call this a light is a stretch...basically the same amount of light you would get from a 4watt night light!
NOT worth the money...we are looking for wireless lighting for a bathroom shower area that is poorly lit with nowhere to hardwire, obviously these will not cut it...

Don't waste your money,

This is pretty much a waste of money. It provides very little light--certainly not enough to light an entire room. Plus the battery required for the switch is not a standard size. I had to go to a battery store just to find it. Big let down here.
