4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Clip
We all just switched to the Sigg bottles because we were concerned about possible leaching. Our family had gotten used to using the Camelbak bottles which have a convenient carry loop built into the lid. We'd gotten used to just hooking the bottles on a finger and going... so we were looking for that convenience with the Sigg bottles. This clip is just what we were...

1.0 out of 5 stars horrible smell
This works like it's supposed to, except for the fact that the rubber part smells so bad you can't drink anything without taking a whiff of an old smelly tire.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bottle Cap NOT included, December 13, 2008

This review is from: Sigg Bottle Bandit with Spring Hook (Sports)
Be forewarned, the photo and description is misleading. This product is just the clip and a rubber ring that attaches it to your Sigg bottle.

It's a handy gadget, but I was expecting a bottle top/cap with an attached clip when I ordered them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubber breaks easily, January 17, 2009
This review is from: Sigg Bottle Bandit with Spring Hook (Sports)
I had two of these bottle bandits. The rubber portion of both of them broke within a few days of placing them on the Sigg bottle. This makes it useless. Very displeased with the poor quality of this product.

1.0 out of 5 stars I should have listened to the other reviews!!!, April 18, 2009
This review is from: Sigg Bottle Bandit with Spring Hook (Sports)
I really wanted this to work, and so I bought it even after I read the reviews about it easily breaking. Surely enough, within a few days, not even a week, the rubber ring broke. What a waste!

1.0 out of 5 stars The rubber part breaks!, April 17, 2009
This review is from: Sigg Bottle Bandit with Spring Hook (Sports)
I absolutely LOVE Sigg bottles, but this product is terrible. I bought two and both broke -- the rubber part just snapped apart -- within days. It's a lovely carabiner clip, but the rubber part, which is what attaches to the neck of the bottle, appears to be too small.

I bought this product when I purchased my Sigg bottle. I I loved it at first, since I could loop it around my finger and go or attach my keys to it. However, the rubber quickly broke and was useless. I love my Sigg bottle, but am disappointed in this product.

This clip is just what we were looking for. :) The spring on the clip is stronger than other carabiner clips we've had (on key rings etc.) Very convenient for carrying the bottle when you're on the go.

Yeah, the rubber ring does smell like rubber, very strongly when first putting it on... but we haven't found the smell to be noticeable when drinking... (Line the clip up with the bottle's mud cap so that the little rubber flap is not right in front of your nose when you drink!).

1.0 out of 5 stars cheap, August 17, 2009
This review is from: Sigg Bottle Bandit with Spring Hook (Sports)
I liked the idea of being able to hook my bottle on to my bag or purse so it doesn't take up space inside. However, I've only had this hook for a month and the rubber has already cracked and split right down the middle. So now I have a hook with no way of connecting it to my bottle. Where is the quality?

2.0 out of 5 stars Good idea, but..., May 10, 2009

This review is from: Sigg Bottle Bandit with Spring Hook (Sports)
The Bottle Bandit with spring hook is a good idea and I liked to hook it on things to keep me hands-free while going walking. But after only a short while, the rubber ring that goes around the bottle tore in half. My bottle went tumbling, but luckily wasn't damaged. The Bandit, however is completely unrepareable. Now i just have a hook lying around. Needs better/sturdier rubber loop.

Last one I had split for no reason and I need another one. This one seems to work fine so far.
