Batteries are terrible,

Works great to sight in, I have a buddy go down range and put his finger on the dot and sight the scope in from there. The issue is with the batteries, you have maybe 15 minutes then they are junk. I replaced them several times already. After they sit for a few you get another few minutes then the laser dies again. My suggestion is to understand your time is very limited, so move quick once you turn it on!!

There is no on/off switch, it just works by tightening a reverse-threaded plastic screw on the end where the primer would be. After fiddling with that for a few minutes, you better work fast once you turn it on. The batteries are good for about 10 minutes, and then they die. Of course, then there's the problem I had where the bolt accidentally closed on it and the thing was lodged in my chamber and wouldn't come out until I used a mallet and dowel rod to pound it out... I do NOT recommend this product to anyone. Buy the kind of laser that goes in the muzzle, not in the chamber.

This laser sighting tool won't replace time at the range zeroing in your sights or scope, but it will save you money on ammo. Using this laser bore sight tool will allow you to get your shot on the paper. From there, you can zero in the scope or sights.

It's ok, but not worth the money. Eats batteries like M&Ms. Basically - I zeroed the rifle the old way and my cats have a new toy to play with.
Also the cartridge constantly got stuck in the chamber. I had to use my cleaning rod to pop it back out. I might cut it apart so I can hook up a real battery and grind it down so it doesnt stick.

This producted retailed for just under $40.00 but was of a quality you'd expect for something that would retail for $1.00. The contact spring was not anchored allowing it to shift around inside the casing when the battery was installed. This prevented the unit from working properly if at all. I'd recommend spending a little more money on a higher quality product.
