This book has poems that are perfect for first grade readers! The poems are cute and engaging, and repetitive for sight word practice, but not annoying. The children really enjoy reading them - I put many of them on large chart paper to hang in the classroom as well. A definite MUST HAVE for first grade teachers!!!
