Comparable alternatives: not many at this range. The closest one I can think of is the Canon 70-200m f/4, which only goes to 200mm. Overall, this Sigma is a winner and the only problem I have is the weight. But, its an internal focusing lens, so it doesn't grow longer. Build quality is excellent, sharpness and bokeh are OMG. In short, its an excellent lens for the price.
