The Sigma RS-31 Remote Controller allows the photographer to take self-portraits or get into group shots. When used in conjunction with the Mirror Lock-Up function, it can reduce the possibility of image-blurring caused by camera shake, making it particularly useful for macro or telephoto shooting.

The RS-31 is excellent. The leather pouch holds it securely and has a small "belt loop" to fit on your camera strap ensuring it's always with you. Very convenient when you want to do a group shot and be in it. Can be set to shoot instantly or three second delay. Well worth it.

Works fine with a Sigma SD14. Very simple, does not "eat" batteries, and the working angle is not too narrow.

Super. Works perfectly for the fullframe Kodak SLR/C Pro too. That's the Canon mount version of the famous Kodak fullframe digital SLR.
Love the camera and love the remote. It's an essential.
