Quite soothing actually... What could be better after a long day at the office than shooting hoards of hungry zombies? The graphics aren't top notch- but for $6.99 I am not complaining! As a bonus, you can change the color of the blood from red to green. You can also choose between a male and female character type. All in all a fun game. It is exactly what I expected. P.S. I imagine that it is exactly the same as the alien shooter, only with zombies. Indeed the screen shots look rather similar.

Even with an especially difficult boss level and huge hordes of monsters in the later levels, this is short compared to the two Alien Shooter games. The AI is still mediocre. (The enemies often can't figure anything more complicated than a straight line to your location.) But the relentless pace and the over-the-top gore make it a great diversion.

I thoroughly enjoyed painting the walls of each level red, but the price I paid when this was first released was a bit much for how short the game is. I thought I was about halfway through at the final boss battle, only so see the credits roll. I think five bucks (price as of writing) is great value for how much fun you'll have even if you only play through once. There is some replay value, because you can't max out all of the weapons at once, plus the fun factor of this series (see also the Alien Shooter Games and Zombie Shooter 2) keeps me coming back.

Just your average shooter. Kill wave after wave of decaying zombies. There's a good array of weapons, though there's not chainsaws. No replay value so once you've finished it that's pretty much it. Its good for vegging out after a long day of studying or what not though after a while looking at nothing but dead zombies has to have a negative effect on the brain. The lack of a solid story helps to keep it mindless as well.

I like shooters and who doesn't like zombies? In spite of the low price I didn't want to purchase it as the top down viewpoint makes for a lot of hidden areas and frequently I was dying because I couldn't see who was snacking on me. I found the controls rather hard to use as well. Definitely take advantage of the free trial before deciding whether to buy or not. Personally, I'd recommend paying a little more for Plants vs. Zombies.

I bought this inexpensive title a few months ago, not noticing that it indicated WinXP only. It works fine on my Win7 64-bit laptop. Not much of a backstory but just mindless slaughter, killing a bit of time. I like it.

Purchased for my grandchildren to replase the game that was lost. Good basic game with decent graphics althought outclassed by the ultra modern games. Good shooter game to start and always fun to blast zombies.

i only got the trial version. they thought i bought it. and i still might. it is a fun game. if you like zombie action then this is right up your alley.

Like with Steam, this game require online activation. If I'd known that, I would not have purchased it. I don't reward companies that treat me like a criminal. I won't be purchasing anymore "digital downloads" from Amazon.
