This is a great introduction for parents that don't know sign. I know a bit but my wife doesn't know any and these cards have been a good introduction for her and a good way to help her use the signs with our baby.I can only give 4 stars, however, because the material the cards are made of is pretty flimsy...especially when the baby gets ahold of them. And since the purpose is for both the parents and the baby to see and use the cards, I can't understand why the cards don't come laminated. Fortunately, I saw a suggestion online to get the cards laminated BEFORE showing them to the baby. I took the cards to Kinko's and got them laminated in about 10 minutes for less than $10. And then my wife and I had to cut the cards out ourselves. I would recommend you consider the cost and time of lamination for these cards if you plan to let your baby even look at them.

AWESOME!,

We have been teaching our 11 month old son sign language for the last 3 months. These flashcards have been a great tool to reinforce what we have been teaching him (besides helping me remember how to actually do the sign). He is very entertained by the pictures as they are so inviting to young children. He will sit and look through them for quite a while and I know he is grasping the concept as he signs back at some of them.I would recommend these flash cards to anyone who is signing with their hearing child to help alleviate communication frustration between parent and child.

Amazing how fast little ones can learn with these cards!,

The best thing about the Sign Babies cards is that my twins AND I could both use them. I enjoyed signing with my first child and used a different signing book. But with my twins, the Sign Babies cards help the little ones learn the signs even faster. I can show them the sign, and the babies can look at the picture at the same time. A GREAT product. I've laminated my cards to make them "drool proof." I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting to sign with her babies. Well worth the money.

Sign Language Flash Cards Make It Easier For Mom,

I really liked these flash cards because you only learn 25 signs at a time and the flashcards are easy to work with. My husband and I taped them to the wall behind the changing table, in the kitchen, and in various spots around the house to help us remember to use the signs when we were doing the specific activites. Not to mention, our son loves the pictures on them and plays with them too.

I love them,

I think these cards are great - I love them - I love the description of the sign - I don't think think the picture description part is the best but the black and white part of of the description of the actually signing is perfect and understandable.

These flash cards are wonderful! I would highly recommend these.I bought these for my 22 month old son when he wasn't talking. His speech therapist wanted to start signing to see if that helped. So I bought them and couldn't believe how simple it was to teach and learn. I put the cards in a photo album to keep them clean and also so he could look at them whenever he wanted to. It does make a nice book, and convenient to take to the sitters.Within a couple of days the whole family was signing. He still signs today. These are very inexpensive and a great learning tool. Hope this helps.

These baby flash cards are very nice. The pictures on the front of the cards are well done. The description on the back explains very easily how to perform the sign so that you can be confident you are teaching your child correctly.

I have purchased two of this set and also two of Set 2 for my granddaughters' babies. My great-grandson, who is now two, learned to sign and was able to tell his parents what he wanted way before he talked. And it was the cutest thing you ever saw...to watch him. My newest great-granddaughter is too young but my granddaughter can't wait to teach her to sign. Wish they had these when I was a new mom.

They were a little expensive for 25 cards, but my baby loves the pictures. The signs are easy to do and remember.

I really like the flash cards because they are easy to follow and understand. You can quiz yourself since they are flash cards and it surely beats tring to learn sign out of a book. I bought all four sets!
