My son has responded well to the flashcards in this series. I laminated them for extra durability and then put rings on the left side to make them like a book so they wouldn't get thrown around the house.

He uses the animal signs when we read about animals he knows, when he sees animals he knows and when we talk about animals he knows. I have so enjoyed teaching him these signs and know he'll use them for a long time. His speech is coming along well but he continues to use the signs with his words at 20 months.

My only regret is that we should have bought more parts of this series early on.

this product is great. it really helped my 13 month old son with his english words and sign language.

I use these flashcards in my sign language classes I teach to babies, toddlers, children, adults, and special needs. Children love them, the cards have cute illustrations which keeps their interest, and they just love the animals.

I purchased these flash cards to help my family learn ASL as I have two hard of hearing children who are learning at school. The children like the pictures and often look through them on their own practicing the signs. My one complaint is that some of them have been simplified to be easier for small children with poor motor skills and the card does not show the correct sign.

These cards are nice for teaching simple words to preschoolers but are overpriced.
