Book Description

April 5, 2011 8 and up Warriors: Omen of the Stars (Book 4)760L (What's this?)

The end of the stars draws near.
Three must become four to battle
the darkness that lasts forever. . . .

The dark forces that have driven a rift between the four warrior Clans are growing stronger. Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Dovepaw now know that unless they can unravel the true meaning behind the prophecy that binds them, the warrior code could be destroyed forever.

While Lionblaze remains focused on protecting ThunderClan from another deadly battle, Jayfeather receives a desperate plea for help from the Tribe of Rushing Water. He must travel to the mountains in search of answers that link the Clans to the Tribe in ways no cat could have imagined. But with the summons comes an ominous warning that suggests the power of the stars may not be enough to save the Clans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply amazing April 11, 2011
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
****I will give no spoilers in this review****

I have loved Warriors since day 1. Warriors is full of action, suspense, drama, love, broken hearts, and everything you would want in a series. I thought after Night Whispers that no book could ever be better; no book could ever have left me feeling the way I was feeling. I was wrong. Sign of the Moon is amazing, easily the best in the series.

In this book, I was shocked by the amazing twists and turns, and I applaud Erin Hunter for coming up with this spectacular plot. Even in the first chapter, my breath is taken away from me. There is no delay in getting to the action; no fluff to start out the story. While the plot is amazing, the writing blew me away. The descriptions are detailed, but don't draw on. The dialogue is perfectly believable, not cheesy and fake sounding. The feelings of the characters are well expressed, clearer than day. As I read, I was not in my own world, but the protagonist's world. The writing and plot is terrific and unexpected. You would be making the biggest mistake in your life if you don't buy this book now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Book Ever Read June 17, 2011
Format:Hardcover
CAUTION **********I WILL GIVE A FEW SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW**********

This book is probably the best book I have ever read. It was so well written, and it was very exciting. Sign of the Moon also fills in the holes that were left open in Night Whispers.

In this book, Jayfeather travels to the mountains to visit the Tribe of Rushing Water. He then visits the Ancients (the older cats that Jayfeather was introduced to in Power of Three), and that's probably my favorite part in the book. The current Stoneteller also dies, and then Jayfeather chooses Crag as the new Stoneteller.

Lionblaze is helping to protect the Clans from the deadly battle with the Dark Forest, and he tries to work everything out more with Cinderheart. He also goes in a hole discovered inside ThunderClan territory, and finds a tuft of Hollyleaf's fur. (Any ideas as to where the hole leads?)

Dovewing(Dovepaw) Recieves her warrior name after rescuing a cat that fell into the deep hole, which reveals many secrets. Dovewing journeys with Jayfeather to the moutains as well. Tigerheart tries to cover everything up by telling her he misses seeing each other, but Dovewing shoves him off and continues her life without him.

Ivypool(Ivypaw) recieves her name as well. She and Blossomfall secretly go in the hole, and eventually get lost in it. They soon find a strange cat who (sort of) helps them out (For those who don't remember, it is Fallen Leaves from the Acients). Soon, Ivypool gets lost yet again, and a strange black she-cat comes up to them. She helps them get out safely, and then dissapears.

Overall, I'd give this book a 9.8. It was very well-written, and very interesting. Also, **SPOILER-->** Blossomfall enters the dark forest and begins training there.

My theory about the hole is that it leads to the tunnels that were discovered in Power of Three. The strange black she-cat, I think, is Hollyleaf. She dissapears into the tunnel in Sunrise, Lionblaze finds a tuft of her fur in the hole, and then a black cat helps Ivypool and Blossomfall escape. She must be alive and living in the tunnels, because when the fur was found by the rockfall, her body wasn't there. --my theory. I hope you enjoy my review, and that you will read this book sometime!! -Brooke<3

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best April 17, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
~~**SPOILER ALERT**~~

Wow. This was one of the best books. I have no regrets. WHENS T HE NEXT ONE????? Several things suprised me. Ashfur in Starclan for one. That cat was a psychopath. Whyyy was hein Starclan? And Blossomfall in the Dark Forest. I can understans why she detests Briarlight though. There were several mistakes in the book. *Narrows eyes* Crag is not Brooks brother. Talon is. And Stone Song calls Jayfeather His clan name instead of Jay's Wing. :3 But, a VERY good book!! Five thumbs up! May Starclan light your path.
