An 80`s metal classic, definately underrated,

Greetings my fellow autograph friends. I would jusy like to say this album rocks from beginning to end. I discovered Autograph in late 1998 while browsing through an old Circus magazine I had brought at a Kiss convention. I saw the ad for 'Sign In Please' and figured I`d go out and buy it. I have to admit, the first time I played it I wasn`t that impressed, but after a few listens it really grew on me and has become one of my all-time favorites. This CD has everything; great choruses, razor sharp guitar playing with awesome solos and pounding, grooving drums with a splash of electronics..........I could go on and on. This CD is awesome and is definitely worth a try, especially if you don`t own it or if you are a fan of 80s metal. As for their other two follow ups, 'That`s the Stuff' and 'Loud and Clear,' they are also excellent CDs, if you can find them. 'Loud and Clear' wasn`t too hard to find, but 'That`s the Stuff' is extemely difficult to locate and if you do be prepared to fork out well over a hundred bucks for this rare CD. Anyway, 'Sign in Please' is a great album and in my mind is an underrated 80s metal classic.P.S. Does anybody have a time machine out there? I hate the 90`s.

Autograph is a good band; too bad they got overshadowed by other hair metal bands like Poison and Cinderella. There's so much more here than just the big hit "Turn up the Radio". "Girlfriends Boyfriend" and "Non-stop" are great tunes too. If you can find That's the Stuff, it's great too. I'm lucky enough to have the tape; I heard it's out of print now. By the way---the lead singer, Steve Plunkett---he's the one who sings the theme song for the show 7th Heaven.

Great for this genre,

This album actually set the bar for what was to come from bands like Poison, Warrant, Dokken, Kix, etc. The party-glam-rock-image with great guitar had really yet to be perfected and mass produced until Autograph did it. You could argue that Van Halen was the first, but Autograph pushed the bar further. Plus, this disc contains songs that have stood the test of time with "Turn Up the Radio" still being played on classic rock stations til this day. If radio gurus would have delved a little deeper, they would have found 3-4 more hits on this cd as well. A must have if you listen to this kind of rock.
