I've always liked Bob James. It seems that there is no genre of music that he cannot conquer. I bought this album back in the early 80's on the advice of a friend. While I already had some of James' earlier albums, I was not prepared for his collaboration with Jay Beckenstein on the "Unicorn" track. It simply blew me away. Even if there had not been another track on this album, I still would have bought it just for "Unicorn". Beckenstein's sax work is just flawless. He and James fit together like "hand and glove". If you ever want to know how musical genius works together between two talented minds, "Unicorn" from Sign Of The Times is the key.
