5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Book, September 27, 2008
This review is from: Signal Processing for Digital Communications (Artech House Signal Processing Library) (Hardcover)
This book introduces digital communication systems using advanced signal processing. The author presents various equalization methods, such as fractionally spaced, decision feedback, and space-time equalizers. The author also provides adaptive and blind channel estimations, and polyphase filter bank timing recovery. The algorithms are explained in great detail. It is a really valued book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lots of equation, little description, September 4, 2008
This review is from: Signal Processing for Digital Communications (Artech House Signal Processing Library) (Hardcover)
The book is packed with loads of equations but very very little explanations were given. Only academia may like this book. Not suitable for general reading by student or engineer.
