This is a very high quality puzzle, with very little puzzle dust in the box and concise cut pieces so you can definitely tell whether they fit or not.

It is pretty difficult, but not nearly as hard as Photomosaics with the same number of pieces. The Pointillism painting style is what makes it difficult, and it just happens that some of the rows of cuts lie right on the change of color, so you can't always count on slivers of different color to give a clue.

I'm about 2/3 done after 3 days of 3-4 hours a day working on it. It's a beautiful painting and the puzzle does it justice with the matte finish and bright colors.

Definitely recommended for serious puzzlers and Impressionist Art lovers.

A really great painting to convert into a puzzle. Great to work on despite the smaller size pieces. A soothing image to be staring at for so long and the matte finish really does reduce glare in bright light.

First, the good. I really enjoyed working on this puzzle. Though it seemed intimidating to tackle a pointillism painting, it was surprisingly not as challenging as I expected and you can pretty much tell what is what (of course, identifying forms would be considerably more difficult on a bigger puzzle with many more pieces). The color patterns are sufficiently distinct and varied to make the sorting of the pieces fairly easy, and there are so many different things depicted in almost every frame of the painting that with the exception of the dark grass in the foreground, there are no large sections that would be comprised of identical looking pieces (as most jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts know, there's nothing more boring than having to put together something like a large sky from hundreds of pieces that look exactly the same).

However, the puzzle is flawed in a number of ways, the worst being that some pieces can fit in places where they don't belong. It is particularly problematic when the section you're working on consists of similar looking pieces, like the grass. Other issues have to do with the image itself. First, the painting is significantly cropped on the sides. While it is not unusual for paintings to be cropped in puzzles, this was a bit much. Besides, puzzles with the fuller image of this painting are available from other puzzle companies. Secondly, the colors are off, and the colors are everything in an impressionist painting. In fact, looking at this painting with these colors and in the scale presented, it seems stiff, lifeless, and, beyond the pointillism gimmick, a bit amateurish even. So while I've always been fond of this painting and planned to frame the finished puzzle, I ultimately decided that the finished product just didn't look right.

The cut of these pieces is very high quality. This was a very challenging puzzle due to the way the original art was created. This was a matte finish, not glossy. The colors are well done. Overall, everything was very good. I would buy from this manufacturer in the future.

Beautiful colors but a little frustrating as edge of puzzle did not align with picture and pieces were a little "sloppy" i.e. interchangeable. Still fun and challenging.

While I don't love the quality of this as much as I love Ravensburger puzzles, this is a very good alternative. I think I enjoyed this puzzle even more because I love pointillism. Some of it was a little tricky (like the right woman's purple-ish dress and the grass), but I recommend it. More challenging than a typical 1000-piece puzzle.

Never have i done a puzzle with so many pieces that fit inaccurately. Not sure what the issue here. The pieces are rigid but there are just so many which seem to fit. The pointillism of the painting, while beautiful from afar, make the puzzle very hard and if you ask me, tedious to complete.
