Grade 7 Up-- This sixth in the series continues the adventures of two teenage sleuths, Amanda Hart, student, and Mickey Soul, owner of a bicycle messenger service in San Francisco. When Mick is threatened by thugs and told to shut down his business, he asks Amanda to help discover which of his messengers has been used to make deliveries for a drug ring. Action is evenly paced, with clues scattered throughout. Conversation is lively and plausible, and there's a clever twist in the plot. This is the best in the series. It's the perfect blend of mystery and teen romance. I've read all the books in the series and this one is the best by far. It kept me guessing until the end. Do yourself a favor and read it.
