In this day we are inundated with history rewritten to suit the times.
It is refreshing to read history directly from the times in which it occurred.
Hopefully we will remember that history and learn from it, for as George Santayana said,"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
Often we forget the basis on which our nation was founded; not on selfish men, but on the Laws of God, for "we are endowed by our Creator", not revisionist historians.

In my version of the book from wallbuilders, it is merely a reprint of the original. Great book, very informative. However, it contains many typos, such as wrong dates (ex: 1851, when the actual date would be 1751), In the table of contents, Elbridge Gerry is listed under Rhode Island when he should be under Massachusetts, and just words spelled wrong (ex: practise instead of practice). A little annoying with all of these, but other than that, great book.

This was a reprint of an effort from the 1800 to remind Americans about all this. It is mostly a brief connection to a host of signers that most Americans don't even know at all.
