This book is clear and concise and guides you through the bare necessities and takes you to a very confident level of understanding American Sign Language. The authors gave much attention to detail and creativity and fun in helping you to learn this beautiful language.

I love the video and the exercises that go along with the video are wonderful. But the book on the other hand is poorly written. Several signs are wrong or outdated. Many signs are drawn in such a way that it could be confused with other signs. Since there are no labels marking what word the model is signing there is no way to figure out the authors intent.

Signing Naturally are very good textbooks for the beginner and intermediate sign language students. The demo signing is a little fast for someone that is still learning, but the speed can be slowed down if you have a DVD player with that capacity. I am a student at college learning sign by using these textbooks.These are truly a must if you're dedicated to learning sign language and something about the deaf culture.

I purchased Signing Naturally Level 2 book from this supplier and it said that it not only included the book but also the DVD that comes along with it. It even states that it is included on the packaging slip. I was very disappointed when I looked and saw that the DVD was out of the sleeve in the back. The DVD is a must for the class I am taking, it is what all the homework consist of considering that it is a Sign Language course. I would appreciate and reconsider ordering from this supplier again if they send me the DVD. Other than this compliant, the book arrived to my doorstep very fast.

This book would be more helpful if it has:

- English words to accompany the ASL signs
- index or glossary page at the end of the book to help learners find the ASL signs quickly.

If you have a teacher this book is fine but isn't good for self learning. Would of liked captions under each sign so it could be a better reference while on your own.

THIS IS AN AWESOME CLASS SO iHOPE THE BOOK HELPS ME IN MY LEARNING PROCESS AT MY COLLEGE. i WISH THE PICTURES WERE REAL LIFE PICTURES AND NOT DRAWINGS AND MAYBE A TOUGHER COVER BUT OTHERWISE i AM SURE THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT INVESTMENT TO MY LEARNING EXPERIENCE.

Be very careful when ordering books on here. The disk I got barely worked in my DVD player and refused to work in my computers because of all the scratches.

and I find it easy to follow and most of all practical to learn the vocabulary and the actual signs as it has pictures of the sign sequences.
