I've read other books by Doreen Virtue, and have been to a couple of her angel seminars, and have enjoyed both. The description for this new book from Doreen and her son, Charles, is a little misleading. Most of the book is page after page recounting the experiences of others in receiving messages or guidance from angels. After the first couple of stories, you get the idea. The last couple of chapters touch on how to receive guidance, but again, more stories. It feels as if Doreen is milking the angel train, and now has her family involved, as well. The best material out there right now is from Abraham-Hicks, so I think I will give Doreen a rest for a while.

I do not normally review books, but I felt I have to share my experience. I have read some metaphysical books in the past mostly the Kryon series (I enjoy the science in them). I have never read any books just about angels. This was my first.

The real story is how I got the book to read in the first place. I have been going threw some tough times. I have not had any steady work for a while. So the other night as I went to sleep, I asked spirit to help me and tell me what I need to know. The next day I received a notice from my local library that a book that I had requested had come in, as I order books from time to time this did not seam out of place. The only thing is I NEVER REQUESTED THIS BOOK and I have never read any other books by this author before. This was a "sign from above". I just picked up the book today and I read about half of it already. I already feel more at peace. I can't think of any better proof that my angels are with me than that.

This book does contain a lot of stories, and at first I didn't understand. But then I realized what the authors were trying to do - get their messages and teachings across to everyone. There are SO many ways signs can come to you, and so many people see them different ways - it seems like the BEST way to get this across is to give as many beautiful, diverse and compelling examples as possible. I will admit, this book is not for everyone - I mean we can all see signs. But I decided to play along and do as the book says to do, I asked my angels for some signs. Well, I feel like it is working because the same day I asked for a sign, I saw an advertisement, in a place I normally never look, for a new job hunting site - and I now have an interview scheduled that I am SO excited about. I do not know if this is a coincidence or not, but I have been trying to get interviews for a while now in this market, and now I have one. All I know is that everything kind of fell together after I asked, so I am going to keep asking. Thanks to you angels!!!

Charles Virtue has offered an easy to read pocket sized book that prompts the reader to look at the world in a different way. The world is alive and magical, and we're reminded that these signs and omens are always available to us. The stories nicely illustrate the point and will certainly provide encouragement for anyone who is open to seeing, hearing, and feeling them. The spirit world is always with us and this book gives us ideas of how to more consistently connect with that world.

I read this book so fast as it was quick reading and very inspirational! I especially loved the prayers in the back of the book which address every possible need. I found it helpful and I look forward to reading more of Doreen's books! Thanks!

Charles Virtue has done an AMAZING job of teaching and reminding us to pay attention to wonderful gifts and signs we receive from above. The times we are in can be challenging and the heart-felt stories and experiences that Mr. Virtue weaves through the book offers an optimistic outlook on the events happening around us. I'm reminded to be grateful for the little things, like rainbows and feathers! The book is concise and encouraging, just the way I like it! There are comforting prayers in the back of the book that I found very helpful as well. I'm looking forward to buying more of his books in the future!

Knowing very little about angels, I purchased this book hoping to learn more about them and how they have intervened in the lives of others. Unfortunately, I found the book void of any information about how and why Angels seek to answer prayers of those who ask for their help. Although the author begins the book by stating that angels are always with us waiting to help, guide, protect and intervene when asked and that they send us messages and signs in the form of clouds, feathers, music, numbers, rainbows and coins or currency, she never qualifies why this is so and the source of this information.

Following the introduction, the book is filled with hundreds of short stories of persons who claim angels have answered their prayers. Unfortunately (again), I found the stories more far fetched and fanciful the further I read and eventually put the book down after reading the first fifty pages. Too many of the stories were recounted by individuals who were impressed upon by Doreen Virtue angel material prior to their angel encounter. I would have found the stories much more compelling (and genuine) had they come from persons of more varied faiths, beliefs, backgrounds and angel experiences than what the author presented.

I was a little surprised that this is a collection of angel experiences that others have reporting, and that's not what I expected. My personal sign appears to be feathers, which seems to be a common sign. Usually they appear when I'm not looking for them. And if a long time goes by that I don't find one, I tell my angels that it's been a while and that I could really use a feather to let me know I'm on the right track, or that everything is going to be fine. I usually find one within 24-48 hours--they just catch my eye. Most of the time they are just small and "insignificant" (ha!) and it always amazes me that I even notice them, especially because I'm not looking for them or even thinking about them. I started save them in a wooden jewelry box shaped like a treasure chest. Seems appropriate!! A very inspiring book. I pick it up and read it frequently.

Since I've read this book in a matter of hours, I saw a sign from my angels in a triple rainbow in oil on the road. I've never seen that type of sign before! I found two copper pennies in my bathroom! They Angels have placed feathers at my job and on the sidewalk for me. I have been experiencing the number sequences for about two years now. It started with the number 333. I now know the what the different number sequences mean for me! I am grateful. Thank you to the Virtue Family.

This is yet another fabulous book by Doreen Virtue and her son Charles Virtue. It focuses on the different ways that angels can send you signs and also includes many first-hand accounts of people who have had these signs shown to them.

It isn't a very large book and could have included much more information than it does. It has more personal accounts than it does actual information about the angels and signs. I thought that it would have included more of that than the personal stories by Doreen's fans. For those reasons, I can't give it a 5/5 but a 4/5 isn't bad either.
