Editorial Reviews

Review

Blonsky has grouped numerous original and newly translated works by those who have been highly visible forces in semiotic circles... His book functions as a unified voice proclaiming the power of semiotics to reveal the hidden practices and secrets of modern society.

4.0 out of 5 stars Semiotics, Please, May 28, 2003

This review is from: On Signs (Paperback)
This is a great collection of essays if you're interested in learning more about semiotics. The main strength of the book is that various author's (or practitioners) theories and methods are exposed. Although some of the essays are 'difficult' and might require a little more background in semiotic theory, most of the essays are pretty approachable for the general reader.
