Ron Podmore creates an excellent biography of five Deaf individuals. I have always been bored with biographies but Ron really knows how to create a wonderful book! It was enjoyable, creative, and interesting on many levels. His work points out biases and misconceptions that the hearing public has when it comes to Deaf people. Ron Podmore is also the author of the book "a sign to remember" which is about a Deaf 15 year old who finds out he may also lose his sight to a genetic disease. Both are wonderful books ... Ron does it again! -Tyler Young
